Has Target lost its moral compass?
I am a conservative Christian Mom. At the same time, I am open to others opinions and different ways of life. I realize that the way I choose to raise my family may not be the way other people agree with and visa-versa.
But, when I see things in the stores marketed in the children’s board game section that are inappropriate for children it just ticks me off. In Target I have seen this game repeatedly in the same place. I have had enough!!!
I may be conservative… But having this game in the children’s toy section at eye level of any 8 and under child is inappropriate and angers me. My sweet six year old is able to read and can read this. While I do not shelter my child from everything that is not conservative, and use different situations as teaching moments….. I feel like in this situation Target FAILED in their job of properly marketing age appropriate materials. I do not feel that this game should be by Apples to Apples and the Crayola Color Maker. I don’t care WHERE they put it….just take it out of the kids section.
Thank you Target. Now I have to proofread your toy isle before my son goes through. Its sad when the toy and game section needs a rating. Guess I will have to check in the Wal-Mart toy section next. Does every big box store carry this item in the same place??
