Let’s Braid about it
I have four girls and they are pretty self-sufficient about getting themselves ready for the day. But, I still like to help them every once in a while with their hair. That is what a momma is for. They gave up bows a long time ago, so we started braiding. It’s really cute and keeps their hair out of their face. I remember my momma braiding my hair up until I was a senior in high school and I LOVED it! I was a cheerleader and it helped me when I would have competitions. It also made me feel special that she would take the time to do my hair. My mom passed away 6 years ago and never taught me how to french braid, and I have always wanted to learn how. I just know how to “normal” braid. I have been seeing all of these “bang braids” and think they are soooo cute! They are very classic on adults and cute on young girls too, so I watched a simple youtube video to teach myself how to do it. I watched a few of them and it took a few tries but I think I have it now. These are two that I checked out that were helpful:

I went to work today and braved my new “bang braid” style and we had fun with it….maybe too much???
So, as you can see… we both have our hair braided here. I ended up braiding Michelle’s hair too! We had matching braids, and yes, we walked around ALL day at work with matching braids on opposite sides of our head.
That is how much fun we are! :) or weird?
I am so glad I know how to braid my hair now…my girls hair, and well, other people’s hair. It’s the little everyday things that bring joy to our lives.
Many Blessings!
